A host of new products and innovative brands were on show, with Pulsar’s practical, hands-on demonstrations proving exceptionally popular. Organised by Pulsar direct at the company’s 40,000sq ft warehouse in Cork, the event showcased new products and a wide range of brands, with representatives present from some of Pulsar’s leading suppliers including Milwaukee, Smartzone, Guardian, RBM, Halm Pumps and Mira.
The new range of Smartzone controls was unveiled, giving visitors an opportunity to see first-hand how the high-tech, low energy products operate. Smartzone’s focus is on developing superior solutions that save materials, energy, time, and money, so visitors to the Expo had the opportunity to find out more about the savings that Smartzone products can bring to both them and their customers.
The new Pulsar demonstration vehicles proved very popular, where visitors could try out the latest Milwaukee drill or see how a Guardian powerflushing unit works. The Milwaukee Red Devil even put in an appearance!
A ‘Beat the Clock’ competition saw visitors competing against each other to see who could put together the fastest Pulsar Press joint. Renowned for its ease of use, the Pulsar Press system saves both time and money, and Pat Mc Carthy from Co. Cork showed everyone how it should be done in a lightening 39 seconds, winning an Apple iPad for his efforts.
The top prize on offer, in conjunction with Milwaukee, was a 50 inch 3D television, which was won by Ronan Waters from Co. Sligo (pictured left, receiving his prize).
Pulsar’s warehouse tours were also a big hit, according to Marketing Manager Timmy Mullins. “The Expo offered our customers a chance to observe a different side to Pulsar direct and to meet with our dedicated Telesales and Technical Teams who were on standby to answer any questions. Those who took advantage of our warehouse tours got to see the full scale of our operations and how the logistics of our company work, from our goods inwards department to our packaging and distribution stations. Pulsar has a superb reputation and we wanted to build on that. The event gave our customers a first-hand opportunity to witness the high standards that Pulsar sets within its operations.”
