DUALSAW Launches New Website



DUALSAW, the infamous saw with the counter-rotating blades, launched a new website last week to reflect their new branding position.  The site allows customers to purchase replacement blades and other accessories, register their warranty and use a live chat platform to speak with customer service.  The website can be found at http://www.dualsaw.com/home.  

“Historically the DUALSAW website was little more than an online version of the original 2008 infomercial, so it was time for an update,” said Ron Rule, Vice President of E-Commerce at Infusion Brands, the company that markets DUALSAW.  “As we moved forward into retail stores and additional online channels, we needed to create a site that didn’t just sell saws and accessories, but also become the official site for the brand, handling everything from customer service to warranty registration.”
The website features a variety of videos to show the many uses for the saw, including the famous video from the infomercial—cutting a car in half.  Other videos show how the saw can cut through various materials, such as rebar, stone and diamond plate and can be used on projects like installing a pet door or a sink.


Rule’s favorite feature of the new website is the ability to now use QR codes on the packaging.  “The next batch of saws to hit the shelves will have a QR code next to the serial number.  Our customers will be able to scan that code and see a micro-site specific to their model saw where they order accessories, replacement blades, or read the manual online.”
