Boom Mat Introduces New Installation Tools: Blade Lock Knife & Installation Roller

Installing acoustical and thermal insulation products can be a breeze when you have the right tools.  As a leading manufacturer of automotive acoustic and insulation products, Boom Mat has a handle on what DIY’ers and professional installers need to quickly and expertly cut and install their materials.

Boom Mat’s new retractable Blade Lock Knife gives you a clean cut for a perfect fit and can be handy for any shop or household use.  Designed as a professional grade retractable knife, it has three cutting positions to precisely control cutting depth and a quick change storage tray located in the back of the knife to store extra blades. Blades that are dull can be easily dispensed and replaced with the push of a button. Comfortable to hold for extended lengths of time, it is made with a cushion rubber anti-slip handle for comfort and safe handling and features a built in string cutting notch. Five extra blades are included with each purchase.

Boom Mat’s new professional grade Installation Roller provides a better hold and seamless results with no visible signs of tracking on the material.  Features include a 2” wide installation roller made of hard Maple wood installed on a plated axle and rust resistant frame.  The rubberized cushioned handle reduces user fatigue and gives a solid roll to smooth out air bubbles for quicker, easier installation.

Made in the USA, the Boom Mat Installation Roller is resistant to water and solvents and can be used for any shop or household chore such as sealing wallpaper seams, corners, border edges, setting laminates, or securing non-slip strips and other permanent or semi-permanent products.
